Who should apply for Working Disabled?
Arkansans aged 16 – 64 may be eligible if they:
- Have a disability or disabling medical condition that meets the Social Security/SSI definition, except full-time employment is allowed.
- Work and have work income reported to the IRS.
- Receive no more than $623/month in non-work income, such as Social Security, workers comp, pension, etc.
- Have limited savings and other assets.
Working Disabled Medicaid covers only the individual with a disability. This program does not include family coverage.
